Sending a Western Union Money Transfer transaction online is fast and easy.

What You Need
A U.S.-based Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card
Your receiver's location

STEP 1: Enter Receiver Information
Enter the following information:
The person you're sending money to.
The amount you're sending.
The city and state where the money will be picked up.
Registered users enter a user name and password, and automatically skip ahead to Step 3.

STEP 2: Sign In or Enter Your Personal Information
Enter your information and complete the registration process.

Registered users can enter an email address and password, and automatically skip ahead to Step 3.

STEP 3: Select Additional Services
Choose available services to include with your money transfer.

STEP 4: Enter Your Payment Information
Enter your Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card information.

We participate in Verified by Visa, a Visa service designed to help prevent unauthorized use of Visa cards online.

STEP 5: Review Your Money Transfer
Review your transaction information and confirm that everything is correct. Modify the information if necessary.

Before submitting your transaction, please read and agree to the Terms and Conditions regarding this service.

If you participate in the Verified by Visa program, once you submit your transaction, you will be provided with a page that will allow you to enter your Verified by Visa password.

STEP 6: Print Your Receipt
You can print your receipt. You will also be emailed a final receipt that contains your Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) and confirms the transaction.

You may be asked to provide additional information prior to approval of your transaction.

You may be asked to call Customer Service at 1-877-989-3268 to complete your transaction.
 
When your payment is approved, the transaction will be sent.

Once the money has been transferred, the receiver may pick up the funds. You can click on Transfer Status to find out if the funds have been picked up. Funds availability is based on approved transactions and the hours of operation at the receiving Agent location.
